Pacific Island Digital Opportunity (PIDO)
DESCRIPTION: PEACESAT will undertake secretariat work and conduct meetings
and workshops as part of the PIDO research project. PIDO is a self-funded
initiative of the Sasakawa Pacific Islands Nation Fund. The purpose
of the PIDO project is to raise awareness of Pacific Island Information
Communication Technology (ICT) policy makers and donor organizations,
recommend and suggest ICT policy for the region, and further the Pacific
Island region’s ICT efforts in the international arena.
